My retirement plan

I know it is little too early to think about my retirement plan. But if I don’t plan it now , they gonna give me a pigeonhole in some stupid metro after 40 years.

This is how MRPL (Mangalore refineries and petrochemicals ) used look from my hostel. It was nice time-pass sitting on terrace, breeze from Arabian sea, moonlight and of course girls hostel in speed dial. Oooo. .. I miss those days.

How to write lyrics for bollywood movies

Vani at white phosphorous has written an interesting post on Hindi songs with wacky lyrics. Post listed some Hindi famous songs which dont deserve to be hits. Those songs never made any sense lyrically.

This reminded me my graduation days where we used to write Hindi “movie” songs. I couldnt help but writing about our contribution.

So having experience of writing bollywood movie lyrics, let me give you few tip how to write a super hit song.

• No experience needed for writing a song, compose background music for it. When we (me and another copyright holder sarkar) wrote some songs and sung it in the middle of the night (in hostels life starts at mid night) the whole hostel went crazy. I guess they were cheering us, most of them were geeks.
• Read news paper, blogs etc. pick a sentence first catches your eyes, write it down. Check Orkut scraps, mail regularly. That can make a great start up line

For example, there was a superhit song in movie “rakshak” Suneil Shetty and raveena:

“ Ladkleeeee haaaan shehar ki ladkeeeeeeeeeee,

aankh churake bole haay haawaryu haay haawaryu haay haawaryu

aank milake bole haaay do you do haaay do you do haaay do you do

Lyricist picked up it from orkut scraps.

Nappy roots

         Photography is my hobby ever since I mugged a camera from my brother ( He has SLR, why does he need “my” digi ? I robbed in broad day light ) .   Ever since then it might have flashed a million times. 

Once he came to hostel and asked me to show what I have caught so far.  I opened the album , and he ” Dude, you are making justice to this cam… There ain’t a need of police complaint”

My college beach

It was one of those most happy days (cause, I was still in college back then..??.,). We went to capture some of college photos. Till that I did not do any justice to the camera (ever since I mugged it from my brother), unless clicking hostel rooms, if you call it photography. The say was for us; everyone were posing for us, the sun, sky, and sea…. all. Well here is the best. …
