We watched this yesterday night.. IT was very inspiring, I liked everything there. May be in the end, it couldnt have been little better. Paralysis & all such things were little disappointing…
The body language & his acting was superb, I haven’t watched many of AB’s movie, I disliked Yuva so much that this movie is a compensation for the loss.
Aish looks so good man! they both really make a nice pair, GOD blsss them..

Mithun & Mahadevan is good, Vidya is so charming.. not just the face but the whole personality..

ps – We had been to PVR to watch movies atleast 4 times & tickets were sold out, this was the first one we both watched together & more over a night show..!

about Ash song. May be maniratnam wanted “hum dil de chuke sanam” effect kind of Ash introduction, through a song. He might have forgot HDDCS is a fantacy and this is a real life story.

Good Review. Agree with you on most points. Too much of ‘artificial’ dance and songs!!! specially the Intro of Aishwarya!!

Few of the songs are shot in Hampi and Badami. The gurubhai-babies song is in front of the Badami Caves.

You will not be disappointed watching this movie. But some things are not different from a typical bollywood movie, as it is expected from Maniratnam. Also the movie does not do justice here for the hype it got.

Thank you. It is not great to deal to notice flaws. Just go there with high expectations. If the movie is not good you will automatically notice them.

I just loved your reviews-flaws. It takes lot of observation to notice flaws in the middle of the movie and it seems to me you have plenty of it!. May be I can borrow some:-)

Maniratnam direction movies generally are worth a watch, generally don’t get disappointed atleast .. all in past…
My expectations are generally simpler May be
